Integrated project for the redevelopment of Palazzo Donà Giovannelli in Venice, designated for the new Orient Express by Accor chain, 5-star luxury. Activities included a laser scanner survey and BIM modeling of part of the building to support interdisciplinary coordination and design quality control, in addition to the design of mechanical, electrical, and special systems.
The intervention aims to enhance the historic building, preserving its architectural identity while integrating cutting-edge technological solutions to ensure energy efficiency, comfort, and operational reliability. The BIM approach enables precise clash management and close control of the construction phases. The building is also undergoing certification under the BREEAM-In-Use scheme, confirming a commitment to sustainability and outstanding performance.
